22 July 2007 @ Regent Hotel....where we had our JC Prom 9 years ago....but we definitely look much better than 9 years back....no more hollywood secrets.....

jean prepared filipino food for my birthday...she said it was my birthday party...filipino style...the guests are all from philippines....except sean....hahaha.....sweet!!! touched!!!

Yanfen's baby gal turned 1 year old...2F was there to witness the milestone.... after that we proceed to liquid kitchen in serangoon gardens for some beer, cocktails and mocktails and we played taboo....til late....then we went to hong kong cafe for late late supper at 2am?!?!....was dead tired!!!....old liao cannot stay up too late...unlike last time....haaaa.....

dinner at bean talk cafe at circular road to celebrate jan babies' bird day...mad and subra...happ birthday!!!!we bitched til 12 midnight...power power...

my korean friend...fat boy came to singapore on my birthday...he did not know that day was my birthday but coincidentally he brought me pressies from bali....which is a heavy hammock which he carried for 20 days.....n a family of wooden display dolphins...father...mother n baby dolphin...whose fins were broken during the journey...n wrapped in toilet paper...haha...fat boy is still fat n funny...

total of 12 oacians (including partners and spouses) came to my place for gambling pleasure...though my home does not have IR facilities but there is a free flow of change of coins if needed...lishan is the biggest winner for the pig year!!!she almost won 1/6 of my piggy bank ahhh...even cynthia's fish cannot fight her...i have no choice but to bring out my white teddy bear for buang-luck-luck-luck...hahaha...after the gambling session...we proceeded to freak's and sarina's new den for yu sheng and porridge and red wine...yummy yummy!!!after that some of them went to christopher's place to pai nian...wat a funtastic day!!!

we had a rovers gathering at philia...a greek restaurant in bali lane....kanglin's brother is one of the shareholders....the last time we met was during kanglin's wedding in end oct 2006....time flies!!!!we have 2 new members joining us this time....chinz's boyfriend....and lolli's and antz's ger ger....rovers family is getting bigger!!!after dinner...some of us still hang around the traffic junction to talk for 1 hour while standing!!!tink we have to meet up more often...so that less to catch up each time we meet...hahaha...

besides paddling....orca would be eating...hehehe....we had a lo hei lunch at paragon din tai feng on chu san...the xiao long bun was good!!!but the company was even better...with sean, jeff, may, wenjie, KA, stacy, suchin, eunice, johnson, menglang, josh, cheryl, kexia and me....the orcas always remember my bird day...i was so touched....i haf the honour to celebrate with them almost every year....they bought a cake for me and may....who's bird day oso falls in feb...after lunch some of us went to bright hill evergreen home to pian nian to the elderly who are staying there...and some of us proceed to thomson plaza to meet up with SQ...SQ wishes orca happie new year with the last 2 photos...hehehe....

we trotted down to chinatown after our reunion dinner to catch the fire crackers and fireworks at 12 midnight...though we tried as much as possible to stay together amid the huge crowd in chinatown...somehow some of us got detached from the main group...met up with eunice after many phone exchange of "where are you now?"...eunice brought us to the special area meant for guests to catch the fire crackers and fireworks up close...within mins we become guests with stickers on our chest....jean's first question once led into the restricted area was, "are we going to be the fireworks?"
